A protege and close friend of dancehall’s newest bad boy Mavado’s, Flexxx has proven himself to fans and his peers in the dancehall fraternity that he is a very focused artiste and unique writer with his witty but very grimy style.
An avid writer he has written a number of hit tracks for Mavado such as “How High”, “Say What You Wanna Say” and the current chart topper on Stephens McGregor’s “Bee Hive Riddim” titled “Which Gyal” just to name a few from his extensive catalog.
As an artiste he has recorded with a number of Jamaica’s top producers most notably Don Corleone, who is also responsible for the careers of artistes such as Munga Honourable, Alaine, Pressure just to name a few and Big Ship’s Delly Ranks & Stephen “Di Genius” McGregror.
Flexxx a member of the Bounty Killer led musical group ‘Alliance’ is also an entrepreneur with his own cadre of artistes and record label named “Fagan Fraternity”.
Currently he has been working acidulously in the studios and the streets promoting himself as an artiste and has been receiving a lot of love on the airwaves and party circuit locally and internationally.
Even though his songs are well known throughout the urban demographic of Jamaica, U.S and the United Kingston a lot of people are still not familiar with the face behind the music, but he plans to change that in 2008.
According to Flexxx all that will change as there are a number of videos set for release in the coming weeks. Many who are not familiar with the artiste may consider him to be a new act but ironically he has been in the industry for a number of year now.
His first attempt at stardom was with a group called MAFIDI which consisted of himself, Mavado, Rackilla, and Terror Kid, before eventually pursuing a solo career.
Flexxx has also been a part of the Alliance long before the named came into existence as he and Mavado were friends with the Five Star General Bounty Killer since 1995.
Some of his musical accomplishments includes being featured on a number of top local shows including the recently concluded Guinness STING 2007 and touring with Mavado
For 2008 fans can expect to see a lot more visibility from Flexxx has he plans to take the dancehall scene with a no hold bars attitude promising some great songs coined with his signature tag line “Weh dem a deal wid, Flexxx in the complex, perplex them body bwoy get dump next …Grants Pen , South Side , Tivoli Garden, Fagan Fraternity till Eternity….Alliance at them!”.
